Terry Cook - No. 60 Wyler Racing Toyota Tundra
Chevy Silverado 250 Race Preview
Terry Cook on Racing at Daytona:
I love racing at Daytona. For many years during the 1970s and 1980s, my family would travel from the blistering cold winter of Toledo , Ohio down to Daytona to spend time at the track and vacation in the warm weather. It was nice to have the whole family down together to watch the races, and stay for a few weeks. Its a great way to start the season off each year.
Terry Cook on Daytonas Challenges:
Looking back on Daytona, I feel like every year I have been in a legitimate spot to go for the win, but have fallen short. Several times I have been about second or third and something has happened to prevent us from getting to victory lane. This year, I know going in we have a chance to not only run up front, but to go for the win. We tested great in pre-season and Im looking forward to getting out there on race day and hopefully being in the right place when the race ends.
Terry Cook on joining Wyler Racing:
I am very excited to be working with everyone at Wyler Racing. Wyler has a new Crew Chief, new General Manager and many new faces in the shop. The only person that I knew coming to the team is the Shop Foreman who came with me from last season. I have very high expectations for our team this year. We are all well-prepared from the test sessions in January where we consistently ran with the leaders.
Wyler Racing Going for Two in a Row:
The No. 60 Wyler Racing team returns to Daytona International Speedway for the Chevy Silverado 250 looking to repeat their 2007 victory after one of the most dramatic finishes in NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series history. Starting from the pole, Wyler Racings Jack Sprague proved he had the truck to beat. Battling hard throughout the race, Sprague lined-up on the outside of a three-wide fight to the finish coming down the frontstretch. Sprague stretched in to the lead just in time to capture the win after a dominating performance in the No. 60 Wyler Racing Toyota Tundra.
Terry Cooks NASCAR Stats at Daytona International Speedway :
