HT Motorsports to Partner with the Stratosphere Casino Hotel and Tower for Las Vegas NCTS Event

MARTINSVILLE, VA (September 17, 2006) - HT Motorsports team owner Jim Harris announced today that The Stratosphere Casino Hotel and Tower would serve as a major associate sponsor on the No. 59 Toyota Tundra in the Smith's Las Vegas 350 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway September 21-22.

“We’re delighted to partner with the Stratosphere Casino Hotel and Tower for one of the biggest races on the 2007 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series tour,” stated Harris. “The Stratosphere is a landmark destination for anyone visiting Las Vegas and to be associated with them for the Smith's Las Vegas 350 is a real honor for HT Motorsports.”

Opened on April 29, 1996, the Stratosphere Casino Hotel and Tower became an instant ‘must see’ Las Vegas destination featuring the tallest observation tower in the United States. In addition to the 115-story, 1,149 foot tower which includes two observation decks, a revolving restaurant, and a trio of unique thrill rides, the Stratosphere also caters to its visitors with 2,444 guest rooms, multiple dining and recreation choices, and 80,000 square feet of casino space.

HT Motorsports has been a fixture on the NASCAR scene for nearly two decades fielding entries in the NASCAR Cup, Busch and Craftsman Truck Series. This year, the HT Motorsports Toyota Tundra is driven by NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series veteran Terry Cook. Cook, a winner of six career NCTS events, is also the ‘Iron Man’ of the series with a consecutive start streak that will reach 240-straight events at Las Vegas.

Cook has not missed a race in the division since the start of the 1998 season.

Since its debut in 1995, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series has grown into one of the most popular forms of motorsports in the world today. Third in television viewership only behind its NASCAR cousin Nextel Cup and Busch Series divisions, the 2007 NCTS season schedule features 25 events across the country including major stops in Miami, Los Angeles, Dallas, Indianapolis, St. Louis, Kansas City, Atlanta, Phoenix, Charlotte, and, of course, Las Vegas.

As part of the association between the Stratosphere Casino Hotel and Tower and HT Motorsports for the Las Vegas event, which was facilitated by Integrity Sports Marketing, Cook will hold an autograph session at the Stratosphere on Friday, September 21, from 7-8 p.m.

“I’m really looking forward to staying at the Stratosphere Casino Hotel and Tower and greeting all the race fans in Las Vegas for the Truck Series event at Las Vegas Motor Speedway,” Cook stated. “Over the years, I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Las Vegas, but never one as unique as and with more attractions than those at the Stratosphere. I’m sure we’re going to have a great time, especially if we can get the Harris Trucking/Stratosphere Casino Hotel and Tower Toyota into Victory Lane.”

The Las Vegas 350 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway will take the green flag at 6 p.m. (9 p.m. Eastern) on Saturday, September 22. The event will be telecast live on SPEED and broadcast worldwide on the Motor Racing Network (MRN) and Sirius Satellite Radio.
