About the Race . . .

Tracking Terry Cook . . .
With Cook racing in his home state of Ohio, many eyes were on the nine-year series veteran. A huge roar from the 25,000-plus crowd came when Cook was introduced during driver introductions. Cook started 21st and moved to fifth by lap 110 of 250. While running 15th after a pit stop on lap 141, Cook was involved in a multi-truck incident on the frontstretch. The Power Stroke Diesel by International race team changed the radiator and fixed the oil cooler that was damaged to get Cook back out on the track. The never-give-up attitude from the team enabled Cook to pick up two positions on the track to finish 31st. The Power Stroke Diesel by International race team had high hopes this weekend, said Cook. We got up to the top five and had to come in to take tires and fuel again to adjust our truck and got back there. It's so hard to work your way back up without rooting people out of the way. We were doing our fair share as everyone was and a wreck off turn four just got us caught up in it. The hit knocked the oil cooler out of it and unfortunately we had to spend time behind the wall to repair the damage."
PAWS Raises Record Funds atMansfield . . .
PAWS staff at Mansfield raised more than $500 this weekend with the addition of the PAWS stuffed dogs. Each miniature toy was sold at $20 each to raise funds for PAWS. More than 10 were sold on Sunday alone when Cook visited the simulator.
