Terry Cook Visits Georgia State Capitol

(ATLANTA, Ga.) – Terry Cook spent Wednesday morning at the Georgia State Capitol surrounded by many Georgia dignitaries, including Governor Sonny Perdue at the Third Annual Atlanta Motor Speedway Day at the Capitol.  Cook, driver of the No. 10 Power Stroke Diesel by International Ford made a stop at the two-seat racing simulator to greet the Paws With A Cause staff and a few die-hard race fans that braved the Wednesday’s inclement weather.

“It was an honor to meet the people that represent this great nation of ours,” said Cook, who will make his 193rd-career NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series start Friday night at Atlanta Motor Speedway.  “To meet with Governor Perdue and the speaker of the House of Representatives was quite unique.”

After a question-and-answer session with the attending media, Cook received a tour of the Georgia Capitol building, where he met with the speaker of the House of Representatives.

Cook will visit and sign autographs at the Power Stroke Diesel by International simulator on Friday, March 18th at 2 p.m. EST located between Gates 14 and 15 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.  Local Paws With A Cause staff will be in attendance, including PAWS Demonstration Dogs, as they show race fans how they help disabled people lead independent lives.  The two-seat racing simulator gives race fans the chance to race against one another as they sit inside a replica version race truck Cook will compete on the track all season long.
