Terry Cook, Ford Power Stroke Diesel by International End Season with Top 25
(HOMESTEAD, Fla.) Terry Cook finished 25th in Fridays NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Cook and the ppc Racing team worked on dialing an ideal setup into the No. 10 Ford Power Stroke Diesel by International race truck during the first half of the event and positioned themselves in the top 20 until the window net came loose on lap 67. Cook was forced to pit under the green flag, putting the nine-year series veteran down two laps to the leaders. Cook never gave up and continued to log lap after lap, seeing the checkered flag in the season-finale event, the Ford 200.
It was tough to pass early on and you really had to work for your track position, said Cook, who finished 16th in the driver points standings. Unfortunately when youve got to pit under green, its hard to make that up.
