Terry Cook on getting back into the top-10 driver points standings . . .
"That was our goal; to get back to the top 10 where we belong. We seemed to be creeping up slowly each week. We got ourselves in a position where we slipped all the way back to 16th. We've only moved up one spot in the standings but we've closed the points gap between us and the top 10 dramatically. A good showing for us this weekend may play into our hand to get us back into the top 10."
Terry Cook on last week's celebration of 10 years with Power Stroke Diesel . . .
"This is without a doubt the world's finest diesel engine if not the world's finest engine period. To have that kind of longevity on the highways still today tells you about the durability and performance of that engine itself. We look forward to many more 10-year increments to come with the Power Stroke Diesel engine."
Terry Cook on his performances at Nashville Superspeedway . . .
"In my short career on concrete tracks, I have not done that well. Crew chief Jamie Jones and ppc Racing have had a lot of success on concrete tracks in the past so it gives me a lot of optimism going into this weekend's race at Nashville Superspeedway. I've qualified well at Nashville but never really raced well. I had some decent finishes in the top 10 a couple of times but never really was competitive. I hope to turn that around this weekend."
