Terry Cook on his 2002 victory at The Milwaukee Mile . . .
From a drivers perspective, that was by far the biggest accomplishment I had had to date. We were fastest in practice, sat on the pole, dominated the entire race up until about 50 laps to go and had a caution. The crew had something go wrong on the pit stop. We went into the pits leading the race and came out fifth. I started crawling my way back to the front and got to second. I ran down the race leader with about ten laps to go and it looked like we were going to finish second. I just didnt have enough to overhaul the race leader. Fortunately for me the caution flag came out with about four laps to go. It took track officials long enough to clean up the mess that we had a green-white shootout and I was able to take the lead and power my way into victory. It was a special day.

Ive had good success there the last three years including a win and a pole the last two and three top-10 finishes. The Milwaukee Mile is always a good place for me to go back to because its not far from home (Sylvania, Ohio) and its site of my first race in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. I always enjoy going to The Milwaukee Mile.
