TERRY COOK POST RACE QUOTES -
"At the start of the John Boy & Billy 250 at South Boston, the No. 29 Power Stroke® Diesel/Oil Mate Ford was a tick free," said Cook. "Eventually as the race went on, the truck wouldn't rotate through the center off the throttle and it shoved the nose off the corners. We made numerous adjustments, but the truck just didn't seem to respond to all the changes we made. We're not sure what happened here. This is the same truck we won four races with last season and collected a runner-up finish as well as seven Top-5s. After the way happy hour went with the drop-snout truck named Droopy Dog, we were optimistic and didn't think we would end up with an 18th-place finish. We just seem to be missing something."
"We will put this race behind us as we head to the Lone Star State this week for the second time this season," said Cook. "We are looking to improve a ninth-place finish that we posted in June. Texas is a track we enjoy racing because the No. 29 Power Stroke® Diesel/Oil Mate Ford normally runs well there. We've just had some bad luck at Texas in the past and have not been able to finish as well as we've ran. I've said it before, but we really need to shake this bad luck and catch a break for a change."
