HOMESTEAD, FL (November 11, 2002) - Coming off a fifth-place finish at Phoenix International Raceway, Terry Cook is looking to visit Victory Lane one more time this season when the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series closes out the 2002 campaign with the Ford 200 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

"We're excited to get back to Homestead with Power Stroke® Diesel Ford for Ford's championship weekend," said Cook. "We always talk about how flat tracks fit our K-Automotive race team and Homestead is definitely one of them. It's a symmetrical track that's very flat on both ends. You have to charge the corners because they are so long and wide. You have to haul the No. 29 Power Stroke Diesel Ford down in there, but you also have to be careful not to overdrive the corners."

Cook rolls into the Sunshine State NCTS finale with four victories, two Bud Poles, nine Top-5s and 16 Top-10s this season. One of those wins came at The Milwaukee (WI) Mile where Cook steered his Power Stroke Diesel Ford to a win from the pole in June.

"Homestead drives a lot Milwaukee - only on steroids," said Cook. "Homestead has long sweeping corners that are flatter than a pancake. If you were to pour a cup of water on it, it would have a hard time running down to the bottom of the track. That is a track that is right up our alley, just like Milwaukee where we dominated qualifying and the race. We're bringing the same truck that we won with at Milwaukee, New Hampshire and Indianapolis Raceway Park to Homestead. It's been a great truck all year and should deliver a good showing there too."

Homestead has produced no repeat winners in six NCTS events as well as five first-time series victors. Cook, who finished 10th last season at Homestead, would like nothing better than to keep that streak alive scoring win No. 59 for Ford Motor Company and victory No. 5 for Power Stroke Diesel in NCTS competition.

"There are going to be executives from International Truck and Engine Corporation for Power Stroke Diesel, as well as key representatives from Ford Motor Company at Homestead," said Cook. "It's a great place to showcase your talent if you are a Ford driver. We've parked our Power Stroke Diesel Ford in Victory Lane four times this year and I can't think of a better way to cap off the season than to do it again at Homestead."

The Ford 200 at Homestead-Miami Speedway will take the green flag Friday, November 15 and will be telecast at 3:30 Eastern Standard Time on espn2. MRN Radio will broadcast the event worldwide beginning at 3 p.m. EST.
